“This exclusive, small batch range pay homage to the beautiful old vineyards that are the centrepiece of our home, the famous heritage listed Mount Hurtle winery. Established in the late 1800’s, Mount Hurtle has been our home since the early 1980’s.” – Geoff Merrill
The colour is a dark red with great depth and density. The aroma shows delicate herbaceous and herbal notes initially, which open up to clean red berry fruits and toasty oak.
The palate has both depth and strength, and fruit delicacy producing a complex wine with structure and longevity. Fine tannin, bright fruit and tensioned acidity join to create a food friendly wine that will provide great experiences now or well into the future.
